Oxygen boosts its capabaility
Oxygen Consulting has further enhanced its client sustainability services welcoming two new consultants to the team - Sian Flynn-Coleman and Magnus Williams.
As a Sustainability Consultant, Sian brings a wealth of experience to Oxygen having worked across a diverse range of sectors including tertiary education, resource recovery, and information technology.
Most recently, Sian was the Sustainability Manager at Fuji Xerox New Zealand where she managed Fuji Xerox’s sustainability strategy to ensure it aligned with its Japanese parent company and delivered a strong New Zealand focus and connection.
As well having a Master’s Degree in Commerce, Sian has presented her research to a range of global audiences including the United Nations, the University of Exeter Business School in the United Kingdom and published in the Journal of Business Ethics.
“I am passionate about helping businesses realise their sustainability goals and potential to create shared value. I’m really looking forward to working with Oxygen clients to maximise this” says Sian.
Magnus joins Oxygen as a Research Consultant, with expertise in analysing large technical data sets for strategic intel and planning.
After completing his Bachelor of Science through Victoria University and the University of Hawaii, Magnus worked with New Zealand King Salmon. Prior to this he has excelled at a variety of research projects, including using spatial analysis tools in GIS to define appropriate landfill sites in the Wairarapa and time series analyses of traffic emissions in Wellington Central.
As he finishes his Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Magnus recognises the importance of systems-thinking and a multidisciplinary approach to business sustainability. “There’s a real potential for greater connection between science and business and I am looking forward to leveraging my technical skills to crunch down complex problems into meaningful insights for Oxygen clients.”
