About the role

This diverse, full or part-time position is responsible for managing key client work and contributing to the development of Oxygen Consulting’s client services.

You will be responsible for driving and implementing a range of technical activities with clients, including (but not limited to): environmental reporting/emissions profiles & targets; climate change risk assessment; materiality assessments; sustainability strategy development; project management; communications and engagement; and planning.

In addition to these responsibilities, the role will also contribute to administration and development of Oxygen Consulting’s projects and activities, such as website content development, client workflow management, product development and research.

As our Sustainability Consultant, you will:

  • have excellent communication skills, able to read different audiences and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders;

  • be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time;

  • be adaptable and flexible.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification(s), ideally in commerce, finance, science or sustainability-specific;

  • Minimum 1-2 years previous work experience, preferably in a corporate/large business and/or working as a sustainability professional.

  • A base knowledge and experience implementing sustainability principles, practices and frameworks, e.g ISO14064, B Corp, GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI, <IR>;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience in writing reports and delivering presentations to different audiences;

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;

  • Project management experience;

  • A high level of proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office products.
